Great news keeps coming for players on WSOP Ontario as GGPoker has confirmed the site will exclusively host 2023 WSOP Main Event satellites. That means Ontarians will get the chance to secure a seat into the prestigious $10,000 buy-in tournament for a much cheaper price!
Ontario Satellite Campaign Starts in March
GGPoker powers the WSOP Ontario platform. The operator has yet to release further details but has confirmed that the online poker room will host exclusive satellites for players in the province, which will start in March.
It’s understood the Ontario campaign will be part of GGPoker’s wider Road to Vegas 2023 campaign where more than 600 Main Event seats will be given away to players from across the globe. Dozens of $10,000 tickets could be awarded to Ontarians via WSOP Ontario.
Ontarians Can Win Main Event Seat Starting at $1
The online qualifiers and direct satellites for the 2023 campaign are expected to start at $1 and $250 respectively, similar to last year’s campaign.
The total package amount remains unknown, but in 2022, the Main Event package was worth $12,500, covering the $10K buy-in, round-trip flight to Las Vegas, hotel accommodation for seven nights, exclusive entry to GGPoker Qualifier Last Longer promo, as well as access to the GGPoker Players’ Party and GGPoker Platinum Lounge. Satellite winners also received merchandise and gifts from the operator.
