The World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship returns for a second edition this December at Wynn, Las Vegas. Players will get the chance to take a shot at the biggest event of the series, the $10,400 Main Event, for a fraction of the price, courtesy of WPT Global.
Satellites Running Daily on WPT Global
WPT Global is currently running daily satellites for the WPT World Championship Main Event starting at just $5. These daily satellites award seats to the direct qualifiers taking place every Sunday which have buy-ins of $220 and $1,060.
Successful qualifiers take home a Main Event package worth $12,400 which includes the $10,400 buy-in and $2,000 in spending money. They may choose between two starting flights – Flight A (December 12) or Flight B (December 13).
The inaugural event in 2022 nearly doubled its guarantee, and this year’s edition could go beyond that.
Players Can Win Multiple Packages
In a surprise move by WPT Global, players can win multiple World Championship packages. The other packages may be used by other players. This interesting feature will likely attract plenty of satellite participants, resulting in a much bigger Main Event field.
