The Poker Dream tour is travelling to Manila, Philippines for its second stop of the year. Poker Dream Manila runs from April 26-May 7 at the Newport World Resorts and features 30 tournaments with PHP 95,000,000 (equivalent to approximately US$1,750,000 million) in combined guarantees up for grabs.
Poker Dream Manila Main Highlights
Among the key events to watch for at Poker Dream Manila is the Short Deck Super High Roller which takes place from April 30-May 1. The tournament has a buy-in of PHP 1,380,000 (approx. US$25,000) and features PHP 55,000,000 (US$1,000,000) in guarantees. The tournament is expected to attract a huge field given Short Deck’s massive popularity among Asian players.
Next on the list is the Super High Roller, another two-day tournament running on May 1 & 2 that comes with an entry fee of PHP 500,000 (US$9,000). Players kick off the action with a 500,000 chip stack played to 40-minute levels. The tournament allows unlimited re-entries up until Day 2.
The schedule is headlined by the Poker Dream Manila Main Event which costs PHP 66,000 (US$1,200) to enter. Players will compete for PHP 20,000,000 (US$360,000) in guarantees, with the action running from May 4-7.
Poker Dream Making Waves in Asia
Poker Dream only launched in July 2022 in Malaysia but has quickly gathered steam, as shown by the impressive results of its multiple events. The tour kicked off 2023 with another successful stop in Malaysia and more stops will be made official shortly.
