Jason Koon continues to make waves in the high-roller circuit, with the poker pro recently winning his fifth Triton Poker title. The American poker pro emerged victorious in the 2023 Triton Super High Roller Series Vietnam $50K Turbo event, outclassing a 31-entry field to secure the title and $574,000 in top prize.
Koon Becomes Only Player with 5 Triton Poker Titles
With his latest victory, Koon now holds the most Triton Poker titles in the history of the series, breaking a tie with four-time Triton Poker Super High Roller champion Mikita Badziakouski. Koon’s live tournament earnings have now climbed to $42,892,912, good for a seventh-place rank on the all-time money list.
Some of the biggest names in the high-roller scene reached the final stages of the Turbo event, including Isaac Haxton (5th, $147,000), Punnat Punsri (4th, $182,000), and Chris Brewer (3rd, $252,000).
Koon Wants to Earn More from Playing Poker
Koon was up against Artur Martirosian during heads-up play and ended up winning the tournament. Martirosian settled for second place with $395,000 in winnings.
During his post-win interview, Koon said he just wants to make the most of every tournament he enters and earn more from playing the game he loves.
