Caesars-owned Bally’s Las Vegas has officially been rebranded as Horseshoe in a grand opening ceremony on March 24, just two months before the start of the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP).
The rebranding marks the return of the iconic Horseshoe brand to the Strip, with the momentous event witnessed by prominent figures in the gambling industry, poker greats, officials from Clark County, and Caesars Entertainment executives.
Top Names In The Business Show Up For Rebranding
The Horseshoe brand originated from Binion’s Horseshoe, a Las Vegas casino founded by American gambling icon Benny Binion who founded the WSOP in 1970. Binion’s Horseshoe played host to the first WSOP events several decades ago.
Caesars initially announced back in December that Bally’s will be renamed Horseshoe Las Vegas and the rebranding was made official on March 24with a number of top names in the gaming industry showing up.
Some of those in attendance were Jack Binion (Benny Binion’s son), Poker Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson, high-stakes gambler James “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, Horseshoe Senior Vice President Jason Gregorec, Clark County Commission Chairman Jim Gibson, and Caesars Entertainment President and Chief Operating Officer Anthony Carano in attendance.

The property features more than 2,800 newly-renovated rooms and suites, a steak restaurant named after Binion, M.Y. Asia by Chef Martin Yan, and the WSOP Hall of Fame Poker Room.
