NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has received a complaint from former Arizona Cardinals executive Terry McDonough who claims to have suffered at the hands of team owner Michael Bidwill.
Michael Bidwill Accuses Of Cheating, Harassment
Terry McDonough has an illustrious 30 plus year career with the NFL and served as the VP of Player Personnel for the Arizona Cardinals during 2014 to 2019. McDonough claims that in 2018, Bidwill asked him and former coach Steve Wilks to get in touch with suspended GM Steve Keim.
Steve Keim was suspended for 5 weeks after he was flagged for an extreme DUI. Bidwill is alleged to have given McDonough a burner phone to stay in touch with Keim and then later asked to destroy the burner phone. McDonough claims he did not want to follow these orders and that upset Bidwill.
Bidwill later subjected him to harassment by berating him and demoting him. McDonough says he kept the burner phone with him as proof and says Bidwill spoilt his 34 yearlong NFL career and now wants to be compensated for the same.
The Arizona Cardinals released a statement terming all of the allegations as false, baseless and a ploy for financial reward!
