Isaac Haxton just claimed his second Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) title after taking down the latest edition of the tournament for a massive $2.7 million. The 2023 SHRB took place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas and pulled in 20 entrants, each buying in for $300,000.
2023 SHRB Final Table Results
As usual, the high-stakes tournament attracted some of the biggest names in the high-roller circuit, and four of them reached the final table, with Haxton finishing at the top for $2,760,000 after engaging in a lengthy heads-up battle against Andrew Lichtenberger.
Lichtenberger earned $1,680,000 for his efforts, while Stephen Chidwick took home $960,000 for finishing in third place. Jason Koon claimed the last spot in the final table, walking away with $600,000.
Haxton’s latest victory represents the second-largest score of his career. His biggest cash came in 2018 when he won the same tournament for $3.7 million.
2023 PGT Leaderboard – Current Standings
The results of the 2023 SHRB count towards the 2023 PokerGO Tour (PGT) leaderboard. Haxton’s victory propelled him to no. 2 with 2,297 points, right behind Daniel Weinman who currently leads the race with 2,300 PGT points. Brewer is at no.3 (2,185 pts.), followed by Chidwick (4th, 1,826 pts.) and Steven Jones (5th, 1,700 pts.). Sam Soverel, Alex Foxen, Adam Walton, Ren Lin, and Cary Katz occupy the 6th – 10th spots.
