The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) will be hosting two events in the US in the next few weeks which will benefit two different charities. The first one, the Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event, takes place on April 27 in Florida. It will be followed by the Cops 4 Kids Charity Event in Las Vegas on May 5.
Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event
The Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event is a $300 buy-in tournament that runs on April 27 at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood Florida. The winner will take home $5,000 cash along with a seat into the $3,500 World Poker Tour Poker Showdown Championship which takes place a day later at the same venue.
Proceeds of the event will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Southern Florida. Confirming their attendance are poker greats Anthony Zinno and Michael Mizrachi.
Cops 4 Kids Charity Event
The Cops 4 Kids Charity Event is scheduled for May 5, with the Moon Nightclub at Palms playing host to the action. The tournament costs $300 to enter with rebuys and add-ons available. The winner will walk away with a $5,000 cash prize.
Apart from the prize pool, players can win extra through a raffle and silent auction also taking place at the event. The charity tournament, which is the 48th in CSOP’s history, will benefit Cops 4 Kids via the LVPMSA Charitable Foundation.
