The BetMGM Poker Championship will be back this summer at ARIA Las Vegas from June 9-13, with the Main Event featuring $2 million in guaranteed prize money, twice the guarantee offered during the inaugural event in 2022.
2023 BetMGM Poker Championship
With the guarantee increased to $2 million, the winner of the 2023 BetMGM Poker Championship Main Event is expected to walk away with more than $300,000 in first-place prize.
This year, BetMGM will also be sending 100 online qualifiers to the tournament, with the operator running online satellites for its players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario. The qualifiers will each receive a package that includes the $3,500 Main Event buy-in, travel costs, and a six-night stay at ARIA.
But that’s not all – qualifiers will also be able to compete in the BetMGM Poker Championship $800 mystery bounty event.
Another Exciting Poker Summer in Vegas
The BetMGM Poker Championship runs simultaneously with other key festivals in Las Vegas, such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at Horseshoe, Deepstack Championship at the Venetian, and the Wynn Summer Classic.
The 2023BetMGM Poker Championship is expected to attract a bigger turnout than last year considering the boosted guarantee. Last year’s Main Event pulled in 343 entries and was won by Joey Weissman for $224,236.
